Colonie - Lawrence B. Felix, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY he is the son of the late Edward and Ruth (Schanover) Felix.
Larry graduated from East Meadow High School Class of 1965 and would go on to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Class of 1969. He was the owner of Lawrence B. Felix Associates and also worked as a consultant and entrepreneur in the waste disposal field for many years. Larry also loved to spend his Winters in Ft. Myers, FL with his beloved life partner Christine Benedict. He will be remembered as a kind hearted mentor who was always willing to help others.
Larry is survived by his life partner, Christine Benedict; his sons, Marshall (Gwen) Felix and Elliot (Liz) Felix; his brother, Neil (Andrea) Felix; and his grandchildren, Harrison, Nathaniel, Nora and Theo. He was predeceased by his sister, Anita Felix Boussidan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 26th at 12:00 pm at Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. in Albany. The family will receive guests prior to the service from 11:00 – 12:00. Burial will follow at Beth Tephilah Cemetery, 51 Belle Ave. in Troy. After the conclusion of the burial the family will be returning to The West Albany Rod & Gun Club, 100 Willoughby Dr., for refreshments and continuing to celebrate Larry’s life.
