Alfred Paris Obituary

Albany – Alfred Paris, 96, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. Born in Albany he is the son of the late Clement and Anna (Silverstein) Paris.

Alfred served in The United States Army during WWII and then served more than 30 years in The United States Air Force Reserves, retiring as a Lt. Col. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and would go on to own and operate Alfred Paris Architecture in Latham for many years until his retirement. In his free time He enjoyed playing the clarinet.

Alfred is survived by his sons, Jack (Claudia) Paris and Ken Paris; his brother, Irving (Myrna) Paris; and his grandchildren, Logan and Lauren. He was predeceased by his wife, Gretchen and  his brother, Morris Paris.

Funeral services for Alfred will be held at The Hebrew Tailor’s Cemetery, 1620 Western Ave. in Guilderland on Friday October 20th at 2:30pm.
