I have such fond memories of Alton from my time at Van Wies Point. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a witticism at the ready. My thoughts are with Gaynelle and family.

If ever there were a gentleman and scholar, Alton was that person. A rare combination of intelligence, good humor, and common sense. I consider myself most fortunate to have known him, worked with him, and ,most importantly, laughed with him. Our world could use a lot more in his likeness. My sincerest condolences to all his Family and large circle of friends.
