Arielle Frances Rosenfeld

Arielle F. Rosenfeld, age 80 of Albany, NY died on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center.

Born on April 24, 1940 to Joseph and Ruth Weisberger, in the Bronx, NY. On her father Joseph’s side, Arielle was a descendent of Betsy Ross and on her mother Ruth’s side descended from early Dutch Jewish settlers in New Amsterdam, a source of family pride. Arielle attended school in Laurelton, Queens, NY, where she took ballet, tap, and dancing lessons, which instilled a love of the theater, especially Broadway musicals. Arielle graduated high school at sixteen years old, and at eighteen was awarded AAS from LIM University in Fashion Merchandising and Management. She displayed her love for fashion throughout her life and never had enough closet space. Arielle married her loving husband Ervin on February 6th, 1960. The couple built their dream home at 10 Joyce Lane, Woodbury NY, where they were often entertained family and friends. Arielle demonstrated her creativity through her hobbies; arts and crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, and paper card making. She loved knitting sweaters for her seven grandchildren.

Arielle is survived by her children; Michael and Susan Rosenfeld, North Port, FL, David Rosenfeld, Minneapolis, MN, and Elizabeth and Brian Epstein, Niskayuna, NY and her grandchildren, Sarah Rosenfeld, Gabriel Rosenfeld and Cameron Auer, Olivia Rosenfeld, Camille Rosenfeld, Benjamin Rosenfeld, Quincy Epstein, Mallory Epstein. Arielle was predeceased by her loving of husband of 44 years, Ervin Rosenfeld, her beloved sister Carole Klevan, and her adoring parents, Joseph and Ruth Weisberger.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville, NY
