Barbara Feldman Obituary

Albany – Barbara Feldman, 89, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday September 13, 2023. Born in Rumford, ME she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (MacDougall) Noonan. Barbara was married to Melvin Feldman for 69 years until his passing in 2021.

Barbara worked as a secretary at the LaSalle School in Albany for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Melvin, reading and listening to music on the radio. Barbara’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Lori (Frank) Lasch and Cheryl (Pete Doody) Feldman; her grandchildren, Bethany (Lance White) Lasch, Aimee Lasch, Sarah (Christopher Baldauf) Doody and Victoria (Haley Gray) Doody; her great-grandson, Jackson White; and her feline companion, Sadie. In addition to her husband Melvin, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Feldman.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Monday September 18th at 11:00 am at The Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. in Albany. Burial will follow at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery on Fuller Rd.
