Bonnie Frank, a long time resident of Stephentown, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2024. She was 69 years old. Bonnie was born on December 18, 1954 and grew up in Albany, NY. Graduated from Albany High School and SUNY at Albany where she earned her bachelor’s degree and membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

She met the love of her life in 1984, Andy Maguire, her devoted partner for 40 years. They enjoyed bee keeping, gardening and their blueberry bushes. Bonnie was an accomplished cook. As a hobby, she made bees wax soap and bees wax candles which she sold at various local retailers. Bonnie was always skilled at whatever she put her hands to. She was a hard worker and not afraid to get her hands dirty.

In her professional career Bonnie was a data base manager for a number of New York State Agencies including the Department of Transportation, Division of Workers Compensation, Division of Criminal Justice Services and the New York State Police. In her retirement, she was active in the Stephentown Food Bank for many years.

Bonnie was a delight to be with. She was loved by all who got the privilege to know her. Her easy going way and open demeanor made those she met gravitate to her. She was loved by so many especially those in the Frank and Maguire family. Bonnie is survived by her partner Andy Maguire, his daughters Lisa, Amy and Katherine; Granddaughters, Elizabeth and Charlotte; Grandsons Andrew and Matthew; Bonnie’s sister Susan and nieces Karen, Zoe, Heather, Elizabeth and Jennifer.

Funeral service for Bonnie will be held at Hall & Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY-43 Stephentown, NY 12168 on Wednesday July 31st at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow.
