Carol Meyers

Carol A. Meyers of Boston, Massachusetts died on January 1, 2022.  Born in Albany, New York on August 18, 1935, to John Altman and Berte Yunich Bisher.  Carol attended Saint Agnes School in Loudonville, New York.  From there she studied at Simmons College in Boston.  Later in life she attended and graduated from the State University of New York at Albany.  Carol spent most of her working years in retail, most notably at I. Magnin in Chicago and Neiman Marcus in Boston.  Subsequently she worked in the hospitality industry at such places like The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs and the Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Most recently she volunteered her time at the Mass General Cancer Center.  Carol is survived by her sister Judith (Ken) Janiec, her three children, Nancy (Fred) Preston, Robert (Jillian) Meyers, and David (Allison) Meyers, and eight grandchildren. 

Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Rosie’s Place in Boston, Massachusetts (www.rosiesplace.org).
