Cary Hausman

 

Cary Steven Hausman, age 63, died at his home in Cortland, NY on Sunday, May 30.
 
Born on April 28, 1958 in Albany, NY, to Martin and Dorothy Hausman, he attended Albany High School and graduated from Schenectady County Community College in 1980 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
He lived in Cortland, NY and worked at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY and then Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where he was still employed.
Cary will be especially remembered for his endearing and unique sense of humor, his love of sports, especially the New York Giants, and being a hard worker throughout his life.
Survivors include his partner Cathy Little of Cortland, NY, his children Joshua Hausman of Edgewater, FL, Amanda Hausman of San Antonio, Tx, Aaron Hausman of Edgewater, FL, his grandson Isaiah Hausman of Edgewater, FL, siblings Philip Hausman (Sharon) of Glenmont, NY, Jon Hausman (Marcy) of Ballston Lake, NY, and Amy Hausman of Katonah, NY.

Graveside services and interment  will be held at the Independent Benevolent Cemetery , 260 Fuller Road in Albany on Friday , June 4, 2021 at 2:00pm
Relatives and friends are welcome afterwards at the home of Phil and Sharon Hausman, 39 Brookhaven Lane, Glenmont, NY 12077.
