Boynton Beach, FL – Celia Wellman, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Kingston, NY she is the daughter of the late Norman and Rosella Farber. She was predeceased by her husband, Zachary Wellman in 1998.
Celia was a registered nurse and retired from New York State, followed by her move to Florida. Celia and Zach enjoyed traveling and scuba diving, and Celia assisted Zach with ski patrol duties. She was active in her community’s women’s club.
Celia is survived by her step-daughter Jennifer (David) Golden and their children Michelle and Elena; her step-son Eric (Jennifer) Wellman and their children Lily and Zachary; her niece, Leslie (Steve) Dawson; her nephews, Jeffrey Farber and David (Vicky) Farber; and her cousins, Steven Farber and his wife Lauren Meyer, and his daughter, Dr. Dara Farber; Michael (Gail) Farber; and Diane (Brian) Dooley and their son Dr. Craig (Melissa) Dooley.
In addition to her parents and husband Zachary, she was predeceased by her brother, Jack (Ann) Farber.

Funeral services for Celia will be held on Monday December 15th at 11:00 a.m. at The Levine Memorial Chapel (649 Washington Ave. in Albany) followed by interment at the Beth Emeth Cemetery, 58 Turner Lane in Loudonville.
