Craig Long

Craig Matthew Long , passed away on October 1, 2021 in Lake George, New York where he resided. He was 49 years old and passed away due to a heart attack  Craig was born in Albany, NY and grew up in Loudonville, NY where he attended Shaker High School. He graduated in 1989. Craig had been employed as a Business Investor. He loved selling cars  and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He played football in High School and enjoyed watching football, mainly his favorite team the Minnesota Vikings. Craig also loved down hill skiing , jumping and helicoptering.  He often traveled with his family to ski in Colorado, Utah and Austria.  He very much enjoyed his time spent at Gore Mountain. He also enjoyed boating and fishing. He was very devoted to his late Father, Larry Long and still is much devoted to his Mother, Judith where he had a special bond and would check on her weekly  Craig will be remembered for his deep love for family , especially his nieces and nephews

Survivors in addition to his Mother, Judith include sisters, Carolyn Myers, and her husband Robert Myers of Florida and Lysa Burke, and her children, Connor and Logan  of Florida,  nephew Zachary, nieces Emily and Shelby whom  he enjoyed taking fishing

Craig had a love for all animals and at the time of his passing had a cat and a dog.  In keeping with Craig's fondness of animals, those wishing to remember him in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Avenue, Queensbury, New York 12804

Craig was laid to rest at the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, NY beside his late Father, Larry Long  on Tuesday, October 5th
