Albany – David Swyer, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday November 4 ,2024 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn with his loving wife Jennifer by his side. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late George and Frieda (Zuckman) Swyer.

David graduated from Albany High School and would go on to obtain his Bachelors Degree from Syracuse University and then his Law Degree from Toledo University. He practiced Law in the city of Albany for more than 45 years. David enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Martin but there is nothing he loved more than spending time on his boat in Harris Bay on Lake George.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jennifer (Hammel) Swyer.

Funeral services for David will be held on Thursday November 7th at 11:00 am at The Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. in Albany. Burial will follow at Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery on Fuller Rd. 

Shiva will be held at the Swyer residence on Thursday after the conclusion of the funeral until 8:oo pm.
