Dr. Paul W. Mosher M.D. 84, died on Sept. 14, 2021 in Albany N.Y., He was a dedicated practitioner of Psychoanalysis and made major contributions to the field, including advances in patient confidentiality and in the digitization of the psychoanalytic literature. Through the American Psychoanalytic Association, he coordinated the funding and production of an amicus brief presented before the Supreme Court (Jaffee v. Redmond). His efforts contributed to the Supreme Court’s establishment of psychotherapist-patient confidentiality privilege. In addition to his busy medical practice, he was self-taught in several computer languages. He was a talented photographer, and delighted in capturing people and places in unique images. He enjoyed travel with his wife and keeping himself fit.
