Albany – Edwin Phillips, 90, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany he is the son of the late William and Yetta Phillips.
Ed owned and operated W & E Phillips Locksmith for many years until his retirement.
Edwin is survived by his wife of 67 years, Fern Phillips; his children, Gary (Christine) Phillips, Debra Breckenridge and Shelley (the late Michael) Kisselback; his brother, Nathan Phillips; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Sean Rivage) Kisselback, Rebbeca (Jesse) Lyon, Brendan (Victoria) Kisselback, Erin (Kyle) Riffe and Joshua Breckenridge; and his great-grandchildren, Laurel, Lennox and Nevan.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brother, Abraham Phillips.

Funeral services for Edwin will be held privately for the family. Shiva will be held at the Phillips residence on Sunday September 15th and Monday September 16th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with a Minyan at 7pm each night.
