Elaine M. Burrick

Albany – Elaine M. Burrick, 83, passed away onSaturday August 26, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, she is the daughter of the late Hyman and Irene (Meyers) Liebman. Elaine was the wife of the late Jason Burrick for 54 years until his passing in 2013.

Elaine was a longtime member of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany where she enjoyed volunteering her time with mahjong tournaments, the garage sale and helping in the office. Family, friends and Temple were the three most important things to Elaine, she will always be remembered by those who loved her most for always putting others first. Elaine was a devoted wife, married to her high school sweetheart, for 54 years.   She was so happy taking care of her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the lights of life, her great grandson was her most recent joy. She kept herself busy with her nieces and her group of wonderful friends.  She was surrounded by love

Elaine is survived by her children, Allison(Martin) Warzala, Todd (Andrea) Burrick and Adam (Stacy) Burrick; her sister, Barbara Heft; her grandchildren, Rachel (Andrew) Chesley, Jared Warzala, Aaron (Jaclyn Stutz) Burrick, Hannah Burrick, Noah Burrick, Olivia Burrick, Daniel Burrick, Sara Burrick and Max Burrick; and great-grandson, Jason Chesley.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Jason Burrick and sister, Bernice Karp.

Funeral services for Elaine will be held at Congregation Beth Emeth, 100 Academy Rd. Albany, NY 12208 on Wednesday August 30th at 11:30 am and will be officiated by Rabbi Greg Weitzman. Burial will follow at The Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville. Shiva will be held at 170 Hollywood Ave. on Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm
