Charlotte, NC - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Eleanor Zippin Goldman at 104 years old on August 31, 2023.  Eleanor was born in New York City on December 30,1918.

Eleanor lived with her husband Jack Goldman for much of her life in Albany.  She was a long-time member of Temple Israel and Shaker Ridge Country Club.  Eleanor was very active in Jack's advertising agency Goldman, Walter and Tillman.  Eleanor especially enjoyed playing golf, Mah Jongg and bridge, dancing and her greatest joy in life, spending time with her family. They moved to Boca Raton, FL in 1979 and Eleanor has lived in Charlotte, NC since 2005.

Eleanor was pre-deceased by husband Jack Goldman and brother Joseph Zippin of Schenectady.  

Eleanor is survived by her children Howard Goldman of St. Paul, MN, Barbara Goldman Herd of Charlotte, NC, Mark Goldman of Los Gatos, CA  and Janice Goldman Pirro of Andover, MA and her brother Calvin Zippin of Tiberon, CA  and her 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at graveside on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11 AM at Temple Israel Cemetery at 1626 Western Ave., Albany, NY.  Shiva services will be held at 6:30 PM at 21 Birchwood Court, Albany, NY.
