Eleanor Lubiner

Eleanor “Ellie” Lucille Schonberg Lubiner, 96, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday January 8, 2022 at Menorah House Nursing Home in Boynton Beach, FL.

Ellie was born in Albany, NY on June 18th, 1925 the daughter of the late Benjamin and Francis Zuckerman Schonberg. She was a graduate of Albany High School and was a well-known Avon saleswoman in Albany for many years. She was a member of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany. . Ellie enjoyed cooking, baking, golf, flowers, plants, playing Mahjong and received many sales awards and prizes for her recognition with Avon. She will be remembered as very energetic in her work, play and social life.

 Eleanor was married to Irving Jacob Lubiner until his passing. Mother of Joseph Lubiner and David Lubiner. Sister of Marcia Chaifetz, Stanley Schonberg and Trudy Bess. She also leaves grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces as well as many cousins.

Services at the Beth Emeth Cemetery on Turner Lane in Loudonville, NY on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 1:00pm. Those wishing to remember Ellie in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Congregation Beth Emeth,100 Academy Road Albany, NY 12208. T
