Delmar – Elliot D. Saroff, 86, passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital on Monday November 24, 2025 with his loving wife by his side. Born in Amsterdam he is the son of the late Jack and Eva Saroff.

Elliot was a graduate of Amsterdam High School, where he was also the Valedictorian of his class and he would go on to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree from Union College. He worked as a statistician for The New York State Dept. of Health for many years until his retirement. Elliot’s hobbies included photography, electronics and computers.

Elliot is survived by his wife, Linda Saroff; his daughter Brooke (Joshua) Linker; and his grandchildren, Moorea, Mason and Carson.

Funeral services for Elliot will be private to the family. Burial will be at Beth Emeth Cemetery.
