Frances (Eisenstadt) Goodman

On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Frances Beth Goodman passed away at the age of 88 in Albany NY. 

Fran was born on September 19, 1933 in the Bronx, NY to Samuel and Dorothy Eisenstadt. She formerly worked as a math tutor in the public school system, and as a school secretary at Ohav Shalom in Albany, NY.

She leaves behind her loving husband David of 62 years, along with 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild: Laura Glindmyer, husband JC of Albany, NY, and her children Josh and Ben; Ken Goodman, wife Maria of Hampton, CT, and children Rachel, Sarah and Adam; Gail Budin, husband Leo of Chandler, AZ and children Jake and Alex; Julie Goodman, partner Steve of Albany, NY, and her children Seth, Sam and Zach.

She was happiest when her children or grandchildren were visiting, especially with their dogs. She loved animals.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday October 3rd, 2021 at Congregation Beth Emeth Cemetery at 58 Turner Lane, also known as Cemetery Rd in Loudonville, NY at 12:15pm. Donations may be sent to Congregation Beth Emeth of Albany, NY; Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center of Albany, NY; The Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital; or the charity of your choice.
