Albany - George Paul, 100 years old, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025. 

George was born June 10, 1924 to Meyer and Anna Paul in Schenectady, New York. He graduated from Nott Terrace High School, and spent his career as a shoe salesman.

He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. George was a fan of all sports. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf into his 90's and at an earlier age played in a volleyball league that competed in the East, West and in Canada. He will be remembered for his good nature and family devotion. 

George was predeceased by his parents, brother Nathan, sister Libby, nephew Jeremy, and great-nephew Jamie Baker. He is survived by his nephew Larry Paul and wife Susan, niece Myra Poor and husband Terry, great-nephew Adam Paul and wife Michelle, great-niece Wendy Donachie and husband Steve, great-nephew Mitchell Poor and wife Julie, great- nephew TJ Poor and wife Kelly. 2 great-great nephews Brennan Donachie and Stone Poor and 2 great-great nieces Kayleigh Donachie and Anika Poor.
