Harriet Weisberg (Simmons) Brown

Harriet Simmons Weisberg Brown, 78, of Clifton Park, NY died on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her residence.  Born in Albany, she was a 1961 graduate of the Albany High School. 

Harriet was employed by the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany for 20 years. She was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Clifton Park. 

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Alvin Brown and had was married to Ronald Weisberg until his passing in 1984. 

Mother of Risa Weisberg Horst (Larry) of Buffalo, NY and Ellen Weisberg Joseph (John) of Columbus, OH; step mother of David Brown (Danielle), Ethan Brown (Jessica) and Dana Jones; Sister of Bernice Burrick (late husband David) and Eunice Golderman (late husband Lester) both of Albany.  Harriet also leaves grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as close family members, Nate and Selma Goldberg of Florida. 

Due to Covid restrictions a private graveside service will be held at the Temple Israel Cemetery, Guilderland, NY on Sunday.
