Troy - Helene Nancy (Brown) Rudnick died at the age of 88 peacefully on January 1, 2024 at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, New York.
Helene grew up in South Glens Falls where she helped run her parents’ small grocery store. She was a long time resident of Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Helene was an avid volunteer for many organizations and was an active member of Temple Israel of Northern Westchester. She enjoyed attending services every Friday night and continued to do so at Temple Beth El, once she moved up to Queensbury, NY. She will be remembered for her off-color sense of humor, she ALWAYS had a joke (or several) to share. She loved to play games such as Mah-Jongg, Canasta, and most recently Rummikub.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin to whom she was married for 42 years and her granddaughter Edie Indigo Rudnick. She is survived by her three children Rochelle Filler (Allan), Howard Rudnick (Jennifer Swezey) and Judy Rudnick (Diane Moskal) and her grandchildren, Joshua, Claire, Ethan (Filler) and Gabriel Rudnick.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or Temple Beth El 3 Marion Ave., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
Funeral Services willbe private to the family.
