Holly J. Simboli

Glenville – Holly J. Simboli, 61, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Yonkers, Holly was the beloved daughter of the late Irving and Sally Kansky.

Holly was a graduate of Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak, New York, Class of 1982, and attended SUNY Plattsburgh, Class of 1986. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Divisional Human Resources Manager, where her dedication, kindness, compassion, and ability to care for others were evident in all that she did.

Holly was a truly selfless person who always put the needs of others before her own. She was strong-willed, independent, relentless, and caring. She had an extraordinary ability to take care of everyone around her and was always there when someone needed her. Her family was her greatest priority and the center of her life.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Sammy and Cooper. Holly also loved traveling, floating in her pool, shopping, baking, and reading. She found happiness in the everyday moments shared with the people she loved.

Holly is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Simboli; her sons, Steven and Ian Simboli; her sister, Janice Hollister and her husband, Chris; brothers-in-law Ronald Rizzo and Martin Simboli and his wife, Leslie; sister-in-law Irma Simboli; nieces Sarah and her husband, Jon, Julie, Lauren and her husband, Adam, and Gabrielle and her husband, Francois, Samara; nephew Jean-Philippe and his wife, Caroline; and her cherished dogs, Sammy and Cooper.

In addition to her parents, Holly was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents, father-in-law Anthony Simboli, mother-in-law Irene Simboli, and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Simboli.

Holly will be remembered for her generous spirit, unwavering strength, loving heart, and the countless ways she devoted herself to caring for her family and those around her. She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service for Holly will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. and Shiva will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., with a minyan service at 7:00 p.m. at Congregation Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Avenue, Schenectady, New York.
