Niskayuna - Jenny “Fay” Grossman, aged 92, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024. A witty, kind-hearted, generous and compassionate person, she lived a rich and meaningful life filled with family, friends and purpose. She embraced her roles as a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and lifelong friend, and she was treasured by all for her warmth, resilience and extraordinary kindness.

With a marvelous sense of humor and a passion for spending time with the people she loved most, Jenny ‘Fay’ was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was an avid reader throughout her life. In her retirement years she enjoyed playing tennis and mahjong with friends, traveling the world with her beloved husband, going to the theater and charity events, and hosting family and friends in her home.

She proudly served as President of the Rabin Chapter of Hadassah and worked tirelessly to support this and other causes that were closest to her heart. She was remarkably sensitive to the challenges others were facing in their lives and always made it a priority to quietly but generously lend a helping hand to anyone in need, in whatever form that might take.

Her memory will be cherished forever, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. May her legacy of love and compassion continue to shine in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.

The family is forever grateful for the wonderful care she received from the loving staff at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center.

Fay was laid to rest in a private ceremony at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
