Albany - Jerry B. Zusman, 76, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Albany, NY, Jerry was the son of the late Samuel and Fay Zusman. He graduated from Albany High School and Siena College, and spent much of his career serving the public through his work with the New York State Comptroller’s Office.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend, Jerry was known for his sharp wit, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty—especially to his beloved (and often frustrating) New York Mets.

Deeply committed to his community, Jerry was proud to serve as Master of his local Masonic Lodge. He also gave his time as a Scout Master and Little League coach, and was a longtime member of the Pythian order. A man of strong faith, Jerry took pride in honoring Jewish traditions and in living and promoting the values they instilled in him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Zusman; his daughter, Faye Ugolnik, her husband Adam, and their children Samantha and Simon; and his son, Brian Zusman, his wife Tracey (Conboy) Zusman, and their children Quincy, Silas, Lennox, and Jovie. He is also survived by his brother, Barry Zusman, and sister-in-law, Margo Zusman.

Jerry cherished his family above all, and being “Grandpa Jerry” was one of his greatest joys.

His legacy of love, service, humor, and faith lives on in all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 6th, 2025 at 12:00PM at The Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. in Albany. Burial will follow at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery in Albany. The funeral services will be livestreamed on The Levine Memorial Chapel Facebook page.
