Albany – Joel P. Margolis, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday March 15, 2024 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Manhattan, he is the son of the late Allen and Claire Margolis.

Joel worked as an auditor for The New York State Legislative Commission of Expenditure Review for many years until his retirement.

Joel is survived by his brother, Herbert Margolis; and dear friends Howard (Patricia Salkin) Gross and Liam Marsh.

Funeral services for Joel will be held on Sunday March 17th at 10:00 am at The Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. in Albany.
