Glenmont – Joel N. Sigal, 72, died suddenly at home on Friday September 26, 2025. He was the son of the late Julius and Julia (Bromberg) Sigal.

Joel is survived by his wife of 48 years, Claire Hollander Sigal; his daughter, Emily; his son, Jed (Elyse); his grandson, Riley; his sister, Andrea (Stephen) Pillsbury, nieces and nephews.  Joel was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn Katz.

Joel grew up in West Hartford, CT and graduated from the University of Hartford with a BS in Business Administration. He raised his family in Glenmont and was Director of Operations for Custom Auto Radio Distributors in Albany working with his best friend, Marc Marholin, for 41 years.

For all the ways Joel showed his love, he will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Joel will be held graveside on Monday September 29th at 12:30 pm at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery, 260 Fuller Rd. in Albany.
