Judith M. Sanders

Albany - Judith M. Sanders, 62, passed away on March 10, 2026 after a long battle for life.  She was born in Albany, N.Y. August 1, 1963 to David and Myrna Sanders, and was a life- long resident of Albany.  

Judith was a graduate of Albany High School and attended the University of Rhode Island where she majored in Nutrition.  She volunteered at St. Peter’s Hospital for decades and she ran a community store at Thurlow Terrace Apartments.  Judith made beautiful needlepoints for friends and family to celebrate milestones.

Judith is survived by her sister and brother in-law, Sharon and Michael Cohen and sister, Elisabeth N. Sanders from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services for Judith will be held graveside on March 15th at 11:00 am at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery, 260 Fuller Rd. in Albany.
