East Greenbush – Lee E. Fiorino, 64, passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 2025, with her loving family by her side after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Doreen Beaudin.
Lee was a graduate of Columbia High School. Over the years, she worked for Key Bank, Ruch Distributors, and the Watervliet Arsenal. She also devoted her time to her community, serving as Past President of East Greenbush Pop Warner.
Creative and full of life, Lee loved painting and was rarely seen without her laptop—her favorite way to stay connected with friends and enjoy funny videos online. She cherished long phone conversations, especially her daily chats with her best friend, Gina. Lee eagerly looked forward to her annual trips to Aruba with family and friends and also loved visiting New Orleans.
One of her most treasured roles was serving as Pool Executive and Lifeguard at the Chenot family pool, where she spent countless happy hours with her best friend, Gina Chenot—swimming, laughing, and helping care for the Chenot grandchildren. In a heartbreaking yet comforting symmetry, Lee passed away just two days after Gina. Both families now take solace in knowing that these two lifelong friends are reunited again in Heaven.
Lee’s greatest purpose in life was her children, Matthew and Sarah, whom she loved fiercely. With her trademark bulldog spirit, she faced life head-on—including fighting and beating breast cancer in 2013.
Lee is survived by her husband, Rick Fiorino; her daughter, Sarah Fiorino; her son, Matthew Fiorino; her sisters, Sue (Dave) Messenger, Michelle (Keith) Colville and Lyn (the late Tommy) Cramer; her “sister-like” cousin, Dee (Bob) Donohue Bauman; and brother-in-law, Joseph (Sue) Fiorino. She was the devoted Fe-lion grandma to her cherished grand-cats, George and Meredith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Doreen Beaudin; her brother, John “Chip” Beaudin; her brother-in-law, James Fiorino and her cherished Aunt, Kitty Donohue.
Lee will be remembered for her strength, her loyalty, her humor, and the deep love she held for her family and friends. Her presence will be profoundly missed and forever treasured.
The family would like to thank the Dr.’s and nurses on the 5th Floor at St. Peter’s ICU for their extraordinary care and comfort given to Lee during her brief illness.
