It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Linda Joyce Lippman Weisburgh on June 11, 2023 Born on October 26, 1943 to the late Henry and Gertrude Lippman. Younger sister to the late Sheila Lippman Rosenberg. Devoted wife for almost 58 years to Stuart Gary Weisburgh. They met in the fourth grade and were each other’s first date.

Mother of Adam Jacob, wife Cassandra and grandmother to Alexandria, Cambridge, NY. Mother of Gregary Scott, wife Denise and grandmother to Ethan Nicholas and Sydney Rose, Fort Myers, Fl.

She was a life member of Hadassah and past fund raising VP of the Colonie Chapter; a member of the Daughters of Sarah Auxiliary and was a third generation past President of the Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Abraham-Jacob and served in many positions on their Board of Directors. She also worked on their bingo committee for many years.

She experienced some tragedies in her life but stayed strong and always managed to rise above each crisis and devoted herself to her wonderful family and close friends. Linda was a breast cancer survivor for 10 years, but this time it was stronger than her.

Graveside services will be held at the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery, 1620 Western Avenue, Guilderland on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend. Those wishing to remember Linda in a special way may make a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.
