Linda Zenner Obituary

Linda Zenner, 81, formerly of Albany, died on July 18, 2024. Mrs. Zenner was born on December 15, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois where she spent her childhood. She moved to Albany in 1966. Mrs. Zenner received her bachelor of arts in sociology at the University of Michigan and obtained a Master of Social Work at the University at Albany. Throughout her career, Mrs. Zenner worked with hundreds of children and families at the St. Anne Institute Community Based Clinical Care and Management Services Department and the Child Research and Study Center at the University at Albany.

Mrs. Zenner enjoyed classical music and jazz concerts. She loved good food and enjoyed good coffee and crusty bread.

Mrs. Zenner was predeceased by her husband, Walter P. Zenner. She is survived by her children Rachel Zenner (Bradley Kane) Kane of Orinda, California and Abigail (Todd Menhinick) Zenner of Washington, DC; and her grandchildren Sabrina and Walter Kane of Orinda, California.

Memorial contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
