Lisa Ann (Friedman) Movitz, of Natick, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the age of 59, after a valiant five-year battle with stomach cancer.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Louis Movitz; her devoted daughters, Brooke Guerra and her husband Matthew, and Danielle Movitz; her cherished parents, Dr. Robert and Patricia Friedman of Albany; and her loving sister, Marcy Spink and her husband Douglas of Needham, and their children Doug Spink and Jen Eisenberg.

A proud graduate of Albany Academy for Girls and Ithaca College, Lisa built a distinguished career as a high-level paralegal. Over the course of decades, she became a trusted professional at several prominent law firms and corporations, including Brown Rudnick, Boston Scientific, Raytheon, and most recently SharkNinja.

Lisa was an exceptionally warm and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the heart of her family, keeping everyone connected by hosting holidays and milestone celebrations. Her friends knew her as caring and fun-loving, always the one who would schedule and plan get-togethers from traveling near and far to watching Patriots games at her and Lou’s house. She was also an avid animal lover who cherished her dogs: Fuzzball, Oscar, and Penny.

A Funeral Service for Lisa will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28 at Temple Beth Am, 300 Pleasant Street, Framingham. Shiva will be observed following the burial on Thursday, August 28 from approximately 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a minyan service at 5:30 p.m.; Friday, from noon to 5:00 p.m. with a minyan service at 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. with a minyan service at 4:30 p.m. at the home of Louis Movitz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at the Apex Clubhouse, 1000 Apex Lane in Albany, New York.
