On Saturday, October 30, 2021 Marian Cynthia Tischler, 88, from Loudonville, NY left us peacefully surrounded by her family to join her beloved husband, Milton Tischler. Born on September 23, 1933, in New York City, Marian was the daughter of the late David Bender and Dorothy Wolf-Bender.
Marian was predeceased by her husband Milton Tischler of Monroe, NY; her sister Barbara Pope of Philadelphia, PA; and grandson Benjamin Whitebread of Loudonville, NY. Survivors include Marian’s brother, Norman Bender of Denton, TX and his wife; her two daughters, Dorothy Whitebread of Loudonville, NY; and Elisabeth Tischler-Alley of Monroe, NY and their husbands; as well as two grandchildren.
The family would like to thank St Peter's hospital ICU unit for their dedication and loving care of Marian. She was interred after a small private graveside ceremony on Tuesday, November 2, at Albany Rural Cemetery in Colonie, New York.
A ceremony to honor and celebrate her life will be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany, 405 Washington Ave, Albany, at noon on Saturday, November 13.
