Martin Lewis Obituary

Albany – Martin Lewis, 83 passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 11, 2024 after a brief illness. Born in Brooklyn, he is the son of the late Jack and Esther Lewis.

Martin worked as a Math Professor at Hudson Valley Community College for more than 30 years until his retirement. He was also an avid chess player in his free time.

Martin is survived by his wife, Marsha Kayser; his daughter, Tracy (Claude) Spanswick III; his sister, Eileen (the late Larry) Lewis-Lurin; and his grandchildren, Annalinda Spanswick and Claude Spanswick IV.

Funeral services will be private to the family.
