Obituary
Muriel (Engel) Hausler died on March 2, 2022, in Tucson, Arizona. Born in New Brunswick, NJ in 1934, Muriel was the daughter of Sadie and Felix Engel, and lived most of her life in Albany, NY. She married Seymour Hausler in 1956, and they were married for 46 years. Muriel was an active member of Temple Israel and involved in Abigail as well as being a life member of Hadassah. She is survived by her two sons, Sanford Hausler (Rachel) of Teaneck, NJ, and Michael Hausler of Tucson, Arizona, and by her daughter, Brenda Hausler of Kibbutz Ketura, Israel. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Yuval and Sivan Moosnick(Liran Gov) of Israel. Muriel was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister and friend.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 9 at 1pm at the Independent Benevolent Cemetery Chapel at 260 Fuller Road, Albany, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Susan G Komen Foundation, the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, or Hadassah
