Ohad Oren

Albany - Ohad Oren passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 16, 2026 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by loving members of his immediate family. Ohad was born on May 1, 1976 in Haifa Israel and has lived in the Capital District since 1987.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Oren of East Greenbush; his father David Oren of Nahariya Israel; his sister Lilah Weisberg of Albany NY; his children, Zev Oren and Rafaela Oren of Loudonville, NY; nieces Ella, Suri, Navah and Vita Weisberg: nephew, Moshe Eli Weisberg, and his beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was a graduate of SUNY Albany with a degree in Computer Science. He worked in the Computer Science field and in Finance.

Ohad lived his life with intense passion and deep love for many things, most of all his family, his friends, music, food, film, cooking, comedy and art. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
