Paul A. Witonsky Obituary

Albany – Paul Aaron Witonsky, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 23, 2023 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Reading, PA he is the son of the late Saul and Rose (Tannenbaum) Witonsky.

Paul served in The United States Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed optometrist and operated his office in Catskill, NY for more than 30 years. In retirement, Paul moved with his wife to Florida where he enjoyed the sunshine and playing many rounds of golf.

Paul is survived by his wife, Leslie Witonsky; his daughters, Beth (Zach) Sherry and Gail (Patrick) Brislin; his sons, Alan(Amy) Witonsky and Mitchell (Roseanne) Witonsky; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Abbey, Benjamin, Nathan, Ian and Sarah; and his brothers, Leonard (Lenore) Witonsky and Irving (Nancy) Witonsky.

Funeral services for Paul will be held graveside at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery, 260 Fuller Rd. in Albany, on Sunday November 26th at 11:00 am.
