Albany – Pearl Zvirman, 98, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023 at The Eddy Village Green in Cohoes after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. Born in Nassau on February 12, 1925 she is the daughter of the late Max and Anna (Eisenberg) Lipschitz.
Pearl was a 1943 graduate of Phillip Schuyler High School and worked as a bookkeeper and secretary. In 1970, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA and that is where she met and married, the late Morton Zvirman, on December 18, 1971.
Pearl enjoyed bowling, playing mahjong, and knitting. She made sure that everyone in her family had one of her afghans. Pearl also enjoyed watching and attending sporting events especially her beloved Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. She was the type of woman that when engaged, could have your ear for hours. She will truly be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.
Pearl is survived by her daughters, Hillary Price (Richard) Lubin and Nadine Price (Michael) DePierre; her grandchildren, David (Miriam) Lubin, Dr. Stacey (Josh) Wallach, James DePierre, Brian DePierre and Brendan DePierre; her great-grandchildren, Isaac and Olivia Lubin, Gabriel, Vivian and Benjamin Wallach, Lola and Barron DePierre.
Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Morton Zvirman; her sister, Sylvia Newmark; and her brothers, Harry and Charlie Lipschitz.

Funeral services for Pearl will be held privately for the family.
