Albany - Rachel Empert was a vibrant, beautiful soul who lit up every room she entered. Born on July 11, 1996, and passing too soon on June 29, 2025, in Albany, NY, Rachel left behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and deep love.

She was a whirlwind of color and energy always changing her hair, keeping us up to date with the latest slang, and sharing memes that made her laugh harder than anyone else. Her sense of style was uniquely her own, able to turn even the simplest of things into the flyest outfit. Rachel lived authentically and unapologetically, never hiding how she felt and never pretending to be someone she wasn’t.

A creative spirit, she had many talents, from baton twirling and embroidery to her recent passion for karaoke. She was feisty, emotional, and at times hard-headed, but her heart was enormous. She felt deeply for others and had so much love to give to the people around her. Rachel was truly one of a kind; artistic, bold, and full of fire. She will be missed deeply by all who had the joy of knowing and loving her.

Funeral services for Rachel were held privately for the family. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced in the future.
