Sandra R. Brand, 87, passed away on November 8, 2022 after a long illness.  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack Brand, her daughters, Lisa and Debra Brand, granddaughter, Nicole Schubert, brother-in-law, Henry (Sina) Brand, and several cousins.

Sandra was born and raised in Albany, NY.  She went to the University of Cincinnati, followed by Russell Sage College where she earned a degree in Elementary Education.  She taught kindergarten in the Albany City School District for a few years prior to starting a family. In later years, Sandra volunteered for various organizations including the NYS Theatre Institute and the Albany elementary school ROAR reading program.  She enjoyed shopping, theatre, the Albany Symphony Orchestra and dining out.  Family was very important to Sandra and she enjoyed spending time with them.
