Sandra J. Geiger

Sandra J. (Goldfarb) Geiger, aka Sandy, was born in Brooklyn on August 23, 1949.  She grew up mostly in Brooklyn and Queens with her two older brothers, Phil and Ken, and attended high school in York, PA.  She met Sanford Geiger in New York City on April 19th 1969. They married on July 19, 1970 and after a short time in Queens as newlyweds, moved to, and lived in Albany, NY where she was a full charge bookkeeper.  They later moved to Elizabeth, NJ where they brought up their two daughters, Phyllis and Marsha from 1983 to 2015. They then retired to Delray Beach Florida and remained there. 

Sandy loved to read, to knit, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren, Eli, Tali, Nava and Sophie. She was strong of faith and character and was a true eshes chayil.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be very missed.

A  private funeral service will be held at the Independent Benevolent  Society Cemetery  on Fuller Rd. in Albany.
