Sandra (Feder) Stracher

Albany - Sandra Feder Stracher age 91 died on Tuesday May 17, 2022. Sandra was born in Bronx, New York and a graduate of Albany High School. She had been employed by the State of New York and later retired with her husband to Lake Worth, Florida to enjoy the sunshine and the warm weather. Sandra was a member of Abigail United Order True Sisters and was active in the Poinciana Women’s Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed singing, writing poetry, playing Mahjong and Canasta and cheering on the Yankees.

Sandra was the beloved wife of Samuel Stracher until his passing in 2012. She was the beloved mother of Ellen (Tom) DiBiase, Amy Stracher Verdibello and Jeffrey (Diana) Stracher. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Feder and mother Esther Held Feder, stepmother Bertha Feder, her sisters Marilyn Freedman and Rose Forman and her brother Harry Feder. She was the beloved grandmother of Amber (James) Margiotta, Gregory (Svitlana) Verdibello, Jayson (Georgina) Verdibello, Brittany (Derek) Eisenhaur, Shelby Stracher, Jillian DiBiase and Lindsay (Eric) Saccullo. Sandra was blessed with great grandchildren Everett Collins, Olivia Eisenhauer and Avery, Eden and Remy Saccullo.

There will be a graveside service on Monday May 23, 2022 at 11:30am at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
