Sheila (Schnee) Alfasso

Sheila Alfasso 85 of Clifton Park, New York died on Sunday August 29, 2021 at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Sheila was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a Capital District resident since 1968. She was a dedicated 4th grade teacher in the Roessleville  School System in Colonie and later in the Shenendehowa School System. Sheila will long be remembered by her students and their parents for her exceptional teaching skills.  She was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Clifton Park and had been active with the Democratic Party in Clifton Park.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Herbert Alfasso, a son, Sidney Alfasso and his wife Karen of Williamsville, NY and a daughter, Ruth Alfasso of Medford, Massachusetts.  She also leaves a granddaughter, Rachel

Services at the Beth Shalom Cemetery, Schermerhorn Street Rotterdam, NY on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 1pm. Those wishing to remember Sheila in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Congregation Beth Shalom, 688 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065 or the Clifton Park Halfmoon Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
