Albany - Shirley (Snitowsky) Lieb passed away peacefully at home among family on May 23, 2024 in Brooklyn, NY at the age of 95. She was born in Brooklyn, at home, in 1928 to David Jacob Snitowsky and Minnie (Garfinkel) Snitowsky. She was the youngest child and the only girl after four boys.

Shirley married Paul Lieb in 1948. They were happily married for 72 years until his death in 2019.
She is survived by her daughter, Elise (Michael) Laurenti and son, David (Antonia) Lieb. She was predeceased by another daughter, Mindy. She is also survived by grandchildren Aviva Laurenti (Graham), Elena Laurenti, Jacob Laurenti (Rebecca), Olivia Lieb, Gabriel Lieb, and Joshua Lieb (Jessica) and by great-grandchildren Hannah Hartke, Talia Laurenti, Kody Lieb, Zoey Lieb, and Grayson Lieb.

Funeral services will take place at Temple Israel, 600 New Scotland Avenue in Albany on Tuesday, May 28 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Temple Israel cemetery, 1620 Western Avenue.
