NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK

Sidney Aaron Cramer of Niskayuna, New York died on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence.  Sid was a graduate of the Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School Amsterdam, NY class of 1956.  He was also a graduate of Babson College, class of 1961 majoring in Management and Production. Sid was a Sgt. In the US Army.

Sid had been the Technical Manager at Campbell Plastics, Inc. for 35 years.  He was an avid ham radio operator, and enjoyed traveling to US National Parks. He also enjoyed Jazz Music and classic American musicals.  Sid will be remembered for his tinkering with his tools and for his ability to fix things.   He was a member of the Schenectady Amateur Radio Association (SARA) and the Jewish War Veterans Post 106 as well as Congregation Gates of Heaven in Schenectady.

 Sid is survived by his wife, Ann Gershon Cramer, sons, David Hillel and his wife Kathy and their children Ilana, Talia and Lucas and Michael Louis and his wife Yoninah and their children, Elazar, Yedidiah and Yochanan.  He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Florence Cramer of Amsterdam, NY

Services at Congregation Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Avenue Schenectady on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:00am.  Interment will follow services in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery on Watt Street in Schenectady.  Those wishing to remember Sid in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Congregation Gates of Heaven.

Sid will be remembered for his love of family, which was the first priority, his warm smile, his thoughtful and considerate ways, his sincerity and his wilingness to help family and neighbors alike.
