Susan E. “Suzy” Rosenblum, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Blanche (Shoor) Glickman. When Susan was a young girl, her family moved from Buffalo to Jacksonville, Florida, where her father opened a women’s boutique. She attended and graduated from Landon High School in Jacksonville.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Suzy was known for her elegance, style, and presence. She had an appreciation for all things beautiful and possessed a keen eye for quality and detail. Her passions included art, antiques, clothing, collectibles, and fine furniture. She loved surrounding herself with unique and special pieces that reflected her impeccable taste.

During a trip to Atlanta, Susan met the love of her life, Jerry Rosenblum. The two were married in Jacksonville and went on to build a family together, welcoming three children: Scott, Henry “Hank,” and Molly. After many years of marriage, Susan and Jerry later divorced, and Susan returned to the Albany area to be closer to her mother.

Above all, Susan cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She was a loving and devoted mother to Scott (Kelly), Henry “Hank” (Jennifer), and Molly, and a proud grandmother to Madeline Rosenblum and Grant Rosenblum. Her family will forever remember her warmth, strength, beauty, and the love she shared with them.

Susan is survived by her children, Scott Rosenblum, Henry “Hank” Rosenblum, and Molly Rosenblum; her grandchildren, Madeline and Grant Rosenblum; and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Those wishing to remember Susan in a special way may make memorial contributions in her name to a charity of their choice.

Funeral services for Susan will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Independent Benevolent Cemetery, 260 Fuller Road, Albany.
