Victor Friedman

Victor James Friedman, 69, passed away on February 14, 2021 following a long illness. Victor was an active member of Congregation Gates of Heaven serving on the Board of Advisors, participating in the Thespians and Brotherhood, and leading the effort to establish the Community Gardens. He was a past president of the Scotia Rotary Club, enjoyed playing in the Ballston Spa Community Band, and a former leader in Boy Scout Troop 67.

The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Vassolas, Dr. Schumacher, and the staff of Fresenius Kidney Care for their exceptional care and service.

Victor is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, April (Campbell) Friedman, three adult children, Edward (Tahsia), David, and Katharyn (Talesha), and three grandchildren, Sophia, Norah, and Vanessa. He is also survived by his brothers Samuel (Linda) and Elliot (Gail), and cousins, nieces, and nephews. Victor is predeceased by his brother Jack (Patricia).

Interment will be in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Schenectady, New York
