William Gordon Weiner

Sag Harbor – William Gordon Weiner, 68, passed away on Saturday July 23, 2022 surrounded by the love of his extended family and dearest friends. Born in Albany on May 22, 1954 he is the son of Alma Gordon Weiner and the late Dr. Richard Saul Weiner.

Billy retired after an outstanding career in New York City and Los Angeles as the National Director of Human Resources for The Screen Actors Guild.

Billy was a warm, loving and compassionate man with a great sense of humor who was always reaching out to help others. He was an excellent cook, baker and loved entertaining family and friends. His artistic talents included drawing portraits and cartoons, something that he enjoyed throughout his life.

Billy is survived by his mother, Alma Gordon Weiner; his cousin Betty Sciubba and her children, Nick, Matt, Phillip and Andrea (Russell); his cousins, Michael Gordon and Richard Gordon; his cousin, Marilyn (Robert Bray) Van Gelder; his extended family, Mitchell Gross and Stephen Earle, Jon Gilman and Brad Learmonth, Deirdre Guest and Eric Glandbard, Sam Guest and Julia Baylis, Mike Bennett, George Mariella, Jo Shapiro and Libby Shapiro.

Billy was predeceased by his father Dr. Richard Saul Weiner; his brother, Carl Michael Weiner; and his cousin, David Gordon.
